What first attracted you to your current partner?


Emma : Tim was just really easy to talk to from the very beginning and had a great sense of humour. His first message to me was so different to the ones I'd had from other members, it was really light hearted and funny and he didn't spend ages going on about himself like other men had. He was just so unassuming and friendly and that really made me want to get to know him better.
Tim : Emma's photo and description about herself were what initially attracted me, and when we started to e-mail each other, it was obvious that she had the same values and sense of humour as I do. She seemed very kind-hearted, and the fact that we were able to talk and joke so easily before we had even met, made me very hopeful that we would get on when we met, which proved to be the case!
Tell us about how the relationship progressed?


Emma : Tim first contacted me via the site and we chatted there for a few days to begin with, before going on to exchange e-mail addresses. We used to e-mail each other a few times a day and got on really well - we found it very easy to talk to each other and we had a very similar sense of humour! After about a week, I suggested meeting up and we actually met for the first time ten days after Tim first got in touch.
Tim : After a few weeks we started to meet each others friends and family and it was probably around then that we became a 'proper couple' rather than just two people going out!
